Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business, and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before. – 1 Thessalonians 4:11.
In the book of Matthew 6:34, Jesus tells us not to worry about tomorrow, because today already has its own problems. These scriptures have been standing out to me recently. Everyday there will be more attacks coming toward you and distractions to keep you from moving forward. The enemy has taken the word of God and twisted it to push onto the world. Before sin was opened to us God had planned for us to have quiet/peaceful lives.
I know before I came to Jesus, I was very interested in gossip “tea” pages and wanted to know what was going on with public figures. I used to complain a lot about my job and now God has allowed me to pray and share my testimony with my coworkers/bosses. Overtime there has been many changes made within me that I’m thankful for. There have been times that the enemy will try to remind me of things from my past; but it is important for us not to pick it up. And remind us of what God says in his word.
As we go on in life, it is important to
1. Not live for others. Live for Jesus! The things of this world won’t matter when He returns
2. If your struggling asks Jesus for the strength and wisdom.
Heavenly Father, thank you for blessing us with another day. I pray that you speak through this message and that it reaches their hearts. Help us Jesus with anything were struggling with right now. Anything not of you I cut all ties off in your name Jesus. Thank you for blessing me with this word, I pray that we all have a good day and week, In Jesus name, Amen.
