Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it! – Hebrews 13:2
Earlier this week a man stopped me while I was working. He shared his past job experiences with me, that he was currently homeless, and shared interactions with others. He said sometimes he would speak to people or just smile, and they would walk past or ignore him. Our conversation lasted around 20 minutes, and I could tell he had a beautiful spirit. Even though he asked me for nothing and at that moment I had nothing physically to give. I spoke life over him because I knew God could do alot for him and even though his life wasnt perfect God continues to wake him up because he had a plan for his life.
This reminds me of Matthew 25:40 “And the King will say, I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’ The ones who seem least important on earth will be put first in His kingdom. Jesus is very humble, and He became poor so that by His poverty we could become rich (2 Corinthians 8:9)
Heavenly Father, thank you for being who you are and everyday blessing us with your presence. I pray that you continue to bless all of your people and protect those who are less fortunate. Allow us all to remember when we have you, we have all we need. We love you, In Jesus name, Amen.
